The major hub nearest our San Clemente headquarters, San Diego is home to some of RSM Design’s best work. It’s not just that we know the city like the back of our hands; we make our knowledge manifest through wayfinding and signage programs that help anyone feel like a local. Whether it’s welcoming you at the Port of San Diego, marking your stay at the world famous Hotel del Coronado, or whetting your appetite at the foodie Mecca of Liberty Station, you’ll find that our architectural graphics exemplify the spirit of America’s Finest City.
This is because, as we’ve shaped San Diego’s built environment, we’ve also been shaped by it. It’s obvious where we developed our nostalgia for surf and sea iconography. But less obvious are how we’ve inherited our penchant for play from the residents of San Diego, and how on their behalf we’ve taken up the mantle to move traditionally indoor spaces into the open.
Like the city, our studio comprises a melting pot of tastes and cultures. While some of our designers are SoCal natives, many others bring unique perspectives and experiences from the rest of the country and the world. What we all have in common is the belief that what you get from your environment, you should give back tenfold. When they’re not catching a wave or eating their weight in tacos, our team members can be found contributing murals to the local art scene and collaborating with iconic West Coast brands.
