Hôtel Swexan, a part of the Hartwood District, is a luxury hospitality destination in Dallas, Texas. The premier establishment owned by Harwood Hospitality Group Dallas combines the charming allure of Texas with a touch of European elegance. The hotel’s moniker stands for “Swiss hospitality meets Texan charm,” inspired by Harwood International founders’ multi-generational Swiss-Texan family heritage. RSM Design had the pleasure of working alongside Harwood Hospitality Group to create signage and wayfinding elements that compliment the hotel’s distinct positioning.

SWEXAN DETAILS

Hôtel Swexan is a 22-story modern tower within Dallas’s Harwood District. The tower’s reflective and modern structure was designed by renowned architect Kengo Kuma. The interior of Hôtel Swexan incoroporates design details inspired by major cities around the world, balancing both classic and contemporary styles. The RSM Design team integrated this approach into the amenity, restaurant, and bar spaces of the hotel. Our team brought Babou’s, a speakeasy bar, to life with a custom light fixure inspired by Spanish artist Salvador Dali’s cat, named Babou.
