RSM Design partnered with McWhinney, Prism, and Michael Hsu Office of Architecture to create the brand vision for Avenue South, a new community gathering place in Loveland, Colorado. The team was brought in at the earliest stages to help define the name, narrative, and identity for a destination that didn’t yet exist—a much-needed “Main Street” experience for a town rooted in small-town charm and agrarian heritage. Guided by the client’s goal to establish an authentic, community-centric hub offering daily conveniences, boutique retail, and chef-driven dining, RSM Design crafted a brand that balances the momentum of modern life with the grounded warmth of tradition.
Drawing inspiration from Loveland’s agricultural past, the brand studio developed a visual language shaped by vintage Farmers Almanacs, worn yet refined typography, and themes of neighborly connection. The resulting identity supports a place designed for everyday living—where locals and visitors alike can gather, slow down, and savor the moments that make Colorado’s Front Range feel like home. Rooted in the idea of a walkable “15-minute city” with the heart of a neighborhood, Avenue South emerges as a new front porch for the community, celebrating heritage while shaping a timeless, welcoming destination.
The brand’s typography and graphic language offer a refined take, inspired by the classic charm of vintage farmers’ almanacs.
RSM Design created a branded leasing book for Avenue South that brings its story, terrain, and amenities to life, finished with refined touches like a hardcover and built-in pockets for supporting materials.
