Town Square Dubai

This mixed-use development, boasting over 38 acres of parks, signals a major new departure for the city of Dubai. The massive scale of the project presented navigation problems for both pedestrians and vehicles. RSM Design was brought to the team to design a system of signage and wayfinding that would help vehicles enter and navigate the parking structures, and help pedestrians identify their location within the project. Through extensive research and planning, RSM Design was able to design a smart, integrated, and connected system of signage and wayfinding, pulling in influence from traditional Arabic patterning, and using traditional materials such as terracotta which add to the design aesthetic and are durable enough to last in the harsh conditions.
