A signage program that draws on the local tradition of quilting

Mountain View Village in Riverton, Utah, is a walkable open-air lifestyle center that blends shopping, dining, entertainment, office space, and community spaces. Inspired by the area’s family-friendly and outdoor-oriented character, the development features open plazas, landscaped gathering areas, and views of the Wasatch Mountains, creating a vibrant community destination.

Our team developed a signage program that draws from the warmth and craft of quilting traditions, layering pattern, color, and whimsy to create a welcoming, family-friendly environment. The Sego Lily, Utah’s state flower and a central element of the Mountain View Village logo, anchors the identity and threads through the signage system as a unifying motif. Decorative bird cutouts and richly patterned surfaces bring a sense of friendliness and delight to every sign, building a cohesive, vibrant experience that makes visitors feel at home and helps them find their way through the center.
