Epstein Family Amphitheater

Located at the center of UC San Diego, the Epstein Family Amphitheater and Warren Field House and Pepper Plaza San Diego Metropolitan Transit System UCSD Central Campus Hub is a state-of-the-art venue designed to create a grand entrance to the campus. RSM joined the team to create an identity that reflected the creativity the amphitheater projected, with a design that is bold by day, and subtle by night.

A DISTINCTIVE LOCATION

As part of the re-imagining of the UC San Diego’s “front door” and the opening of the adjoining MTS Trolley Station, the Epstein Family Amphitheater acts as a gateway. The amphitheatre is a performance venue in the heart of UCSD campus. The project is uniquely nestled into the hillside, with below grade restrooms accessed from the back of the outdoor terraced amphitheater.
