Uptown OC

Legacy Park is a linear 2.5 mile park located in the heart of Orange County within a mixed-use community core that includes retail, hotels, offices, schools, and residential districts. RSM Design created the wayfinding, signage, and specialty graphics for this park that directs both visitors and residents to the various community uses, such as bike and walking trails. In addition to the signage and graphics, the studio researched parks around the world in order to establish a design philosophy that would integrate the modern design aesthetic of the community. Naming for the park districts were studied while branding introduced color coding into the site, creating a way to distinguish each district within the park.
