National Naval Aviation Museum

RSM Design is developing the wayfinding program for the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida, one of the largest aviation museums in the world. Located within the Naval Air Station Pensacola, the museum houses more than 150 restored aircraft spanning the history of Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard aviation. The museum also shares a close connection with the Blue Angels, who call NAS Pensacola home and perform practice demonstrations near the museum for visitors. RSM Design’s system will help guests navigate the expansive galleries and hangars with ease, connecting them to the stories behind each aircraft. The result will be a clear, intuitive experience that honors the legacy of naval aviation.
