Downtown Cary Park

Downtown Cary Park, located near the heart of Cary, North Carolina, is a new square in the rapidly growing Research Triangle. The surrounding area is known for its commitment to public, open green spaces that are based on historic, cultural, and environmental needs. Downtown Cary Park houses a variety of garden types, storm-water ponds, an event pavilion, public art, and play areas for families and pets. RSM joined the creative team to develop a brand narrative and park signage that captures the nuanced intersection between the natural landscape and the built environment. The result are designs that visually show that collaboration of nature and urban elements with materials that resinates with the surrounding character of the park.
