Pier Sixty-Six Hotel & Marina

This mid-century historic icon on the waterfront of Fort Lauderdale is being re-born as a luxury resort destination, marina and residential mixed-use development. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, RSM Design was tasked to weave all of the project components (resort, convention center, marina, condos, retail, parking) together with a very unique identity and wayfinding system. While the overall signage vocabulary had a DNA that was pervasive throughout, subtle differences were established to make each destination unique. Inspiration for the signage was drawn from the mid-century roots with the creation of custom type fonts, sculptural signage, and a brand language that spoke to the high-end nature of the destination.
