East Village Green is positioned as the signature park for San Diego's East Village neighborhood, a 4.1-acre site offering open green space amid one of Southern California's fastest-growing urban cores. The park brings together a community center, performance pavilion, two dog parks, a children's play area, and an 11,000-square-foot real turf lawn, designed to give the surrounding downtown community a place to gather, play, and decompress.


RSM Design contributed a wayfinding and graphics program scaled to the park's range of visitors and uses. The work focused on welcoming people at arrival and orienting them across the site through a set of signs and graphics that reflect the park's playful, community-centered character.
