East Village Green

Downtown San Diego is one of the fastest expanding metropolitan areas in Southern California, and with all the development happening, the demand for open green space was increasing. East Village Green, being called the “signature park for East Village,” is a park that is positioning itself to provide something for everyone to enjoy amidst the bustling downtown area. The 4.1 acre site will include amenities such as a community center, a performance pavilion, two dog parks, a children’s play area, and an 11,000 sq ft real turf lawn, as well as a two-level underground parking structure. RSM Design was invited to the design team to help create a playful set of signs and graphics that would welcome visitors and directly them across the site.
