Geometric entry facade and etched stone signage at The BAR Center at the Beach in Venice, California

Venice, California

The BAR Center at the Beach

The BAR Center is a multi-use building with a community center, administrative offices, including a multifunctional flex space and an outdoor deck with an ocean view. The top level is a residential space, where the Jewish Federation can host students, guests, artists, and fellows. RSM Design was invited to design donor recognition walls, as well as the center’s identity and wayfinding signage design throughout the building. Cultural requirements for Jewish buildings were incorporated into the design. Our goal was to create a strong and beautiful environmental graphics system that not only highlights the values of the Jewish Federation, but also enlightens, empowers, and engages guests and visitors to the past and future of Jewish culture, history and donors within Los Angeles.
