The Americana at Brand offers visitors an amazing shopping, dining and entertainment experience by creating a charming and uniquely polished atmosphere inspired by turn of the century, main street Americana. Located in the heart of Glendale, California and next-door neighbors to the famous and newly renovated Glendale Galleria, The Americana at Brand is an iconic destination for tourists, locals and shopping enthusiasts alike. RSM Design, together with Caruso Affiliates, worked to establish an urban wayfinding design system communicated through a new layer of signage and environmental graphics.

RE-IMAGINING AMERICANA

Drawing inspiration from renowned locations such as Maiden Lane and Larimar Square, RSM Design re-imagined Americana’s historic Caruso Avenue with the addition of flexible seating, lighting, and banners. The wayfinding signage has helped to bridge the gap between The Americana at Brand and The Glendale Galleria to create a new destination shopping district in Los Angeles.
