Tenaya at Yosemite is just 2 miles from the south gate entrance of Yosemite National Park. Spanning 75 acres, this all-season resort offers a variety of accommodations, including lodge, cottage, and cabin options. EFFORTLESS NAVIGATION

RSM Design crafted signage and wayfinding with clarity that will allow Tenaya guests to confidently explore the resort grounds. With a color coded system, guests can easily adventure through the trails and find their way back to their resort area whether its the lodge, a cottage, or a cabin. Each area was meticulously assigned its own unique color palette. Drawing inspiration from the hues of Yosemite’s landscape as well as the architecture in each of the hospitality areas.

Drawing inspiration from the rugged elegance of cabin architecture, the wayfinding signage system marries the rustic charm of wooden cabins with the industrial appeal of steel I-beams, commonly seen in their interior design. These I-beams, with their sturdy yet graceful presence, serve as a strong base where the color coordinated wayfinding lives. By incorporating elements reminiscent of cabin construction, such as exposed beams and weathered wood, the signage not only pays homage to the architectural heritage of the region but also seamlessly integrates with its surroundings.

With each sign carefully positioned to provide clear direction and highlight points of interest, guests are free to wander at their leisure, confident in their ability to navigate the terrain. It’s a testament to the power of design to harmonize with nature, enriching the guest experience and forging a deeper connection to the land we call home.
