Oakbrook Center

The Oakbrook Center, located in the western Chicago suburbs, is a mixed-use destination featuring a collection of boutique retailers, dining, hospitality, and entertainment offerings. RSM Design worked closely with Omniplan Architects to update the previously dated center, creating an elegant character by envisioning an atmosphere that is classic and timeless, yet modern and engaging. The creative placemaking design incorporates a large common space to accommodate events and create a sense of community. RSM Design created a new brand, identity, and wayfinding signage system that complemented the fashionable environment with a bold use of black complemented by a striking color, bringing a fresh new look to the center.
