The Shops at Wailea

The Shops at Wailea is the island’s premier shopping and dining destination, home to a unique range of boutiques, shops, restaurants and galleries. Working with the entire development team, RSM Design created a new logo that is inspired by the brand’s narrative of Hawaiian traditions. The logo development process was enriched by working closely with a Hawaiian cultural historian, inspiring a multi-layered logo mark that resembled a koa leaf and a canoe shape with hand-carved texture. RSM Design continued to expand the brand through patterns and colors informed by the narrative and brand principles, and later translated into the signage. The brand palette as well as environmental graphics also express the feeling of a refined and luxurious aesthetic which works to elevate the property.
