Lido Marina Village

Located on Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach, California, Lido Marina Village is a casual waterside retail and restaurant destination. Recently, it has undergone a complete revitalization, transforming it into a vibrant hub for shopping and dining. RSM Design collaborated with DJM Capital Partners and SMS Architects to reimagine Lido Marina Village. The goal was to elevate the property into a high-end shopping and gathering destination for Orange County, blending modern aesthetics with the village’s casual charm.

NAUTICAL INSPIRATION

The revitalization introduced a simple and casual branded environment. This fresh aesthetic not only enhances the village’s appeal but also intuitively guides visitors through the space, creating a seamless and enjoyable experience. RSM Design selected a nautical palette featuring high gloss teak wood and polished brass accents. These materials were chosen to visually connect the village to its surroundings, including the adjacent docks, boats, and harbor, reinforcing its maritime theme.

Lido Marina Village Docks and Waterfront Access

ESTABLISHING A TIMELESS SEASIDE FEEL

A simple palette of black, white, and dark grey paint was applied throughout the project. This choice creates a timeless seaside feel that complements the architectural style, ensuring a harmonious and enduring visual appeal that resonates with both locals and visitors.
