Brentwood School

Brentwood School is an independent K-12 day school in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles. RSM Design was invited to complete wayfinding signage and a donor recognition program to complement the contemporary architecture done by Marmol Radziner. During the design process, the team was influenced by the values of the Brentwood School: creativity, honesty, diversity, excellence, and community. RSM connected with stakeholders to define how the principles could foster an inspiring design palette. The graphics team choose hues of red and blue for the signage and brought in warm wooden features to counterbalance the modern materials of the architecture. The balance of the current values of the school and the prestigious architecture led the design team to signage that enhanced the built environment.
