The Summit
Bechtel Reserve

Mount Hope, WV

Environmental Graphic Design

The unique destination of The Summit Bechtel Reserve is located in West Virginia on 10,000 acres of land. Recently named the new home of the 10-day BSA National Jamboree that accommodates approximately 40,000 scouts and an additional 50,000 visitors, the RSM Design team worked on every aspect of the environmental graphics package for The Summit Bechtel Reserve, including overall identity and wayfinding design, camping areas, basecamp activity areas, and The Summit Center. The design team has been balancing aesthetics between the natural sense of place that site brings with the contemporary attitudes of the activities and innovative areas that are being created. This project was the winner of the SEGD Honor award in the leisure/entertainment environment category.
