City of Aspen names RSM Design Lead Consultant

RSM Design has been selected to develop a new pedestrian and trail wayfinding system for the City of Aspen, Colorado. Public involvement will be a high priority within this project and the RSM Design team will be collaborating closely with Design Workshop, Fox Tuttle Hernandez, and the City of Aspen to create a high quality and effective wayfinding program that will engage the entire community. The project involves all areas within Aspen‘s city limits including key locations of the parks, trails, pedestrian mall, and Aspen Mountain.

RSM DESIGN WILL BE DESIGNING A WAYFINDING SYSTEM THAT CREATES:

    • Thoughtful signage that is flexible and inter-connected for changing seasons and annual events
    • Educational and landmark signage that guide pedestrians and cyclists to key locations while communicating the narrative of the City of Aspen
    • Highly integrated design that elevates the guest experience and reflects the nature of the City of Aspen

Stay tuned to the RSM Design blog for more information during the community engagement and design process! You can also read more about the project at the Aspen Daily News.
